Our day started with a visit to Molanna Dairy Farm where Margaret and Paddy shared customs and daily life of a traditional Irish family. Paddy's family has lived on this land for hundreds of years and one of their son's will continue the tradition, caring for their 30 or so dairy and beef cattle. Paddy regaled us with tales of his family history - as only a great Irish story teller can!
Before dinner we had a brown bread making demonstration. We've eaten this bread daily with breakfast, with soup at noon, whenever we could get our hands on it. We knew it was delicious and now know it's full of healthy ingredients. Looks easy. I wonder if anyone will ever make it?
