What's a trip to Scotland without a visit to St. Andrews, the beautiful town in the Kingdom of Fife that gave the world the game of golf, to see the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the famous Old Course? We didn't have time to play, but were able to walk 3-4 holes watching the golfers and taking in th views. I was surprised at how casual and low key the whole thing is...
Next, stop at Pitlochry, a vibrant Victorian town where we visited one of Scotland’s whisky distilleries, learning about the distilling process and tasting the final product. Those who like Scotch found it wonderful, most of us don't have the appreciation... We continued to Grantown on Spey for our overnight stay. Our group gathered in the bar for a Travel Our World welcome drink!
