Country Analysis - Ireland Fee: $10 john hall Monday 8 - 9:30 am 2/22, 3/7, and 3/14 no class 2/29 *
  • There is more to any country than today's headlines. To mis-comprehend current events is something we all do every day. But there is a way to get it more right more often, and like so much in life it is rooted in making an effort. Come join a retired country analyst for a look at Ireland -- how can so small and simple and charming a place be so complex? What REALLY matters there?

  • There are a thousand things to do in the last few weeks before leaving for a trip. We’ll give you a blueprint to insure you don’t forget a thing! We’ll cover everything from getting a passport to packing your bag and walking out the door. Packing is often a challenge and different types of trips require different strategies, e.g. packing for a road trip is very different from packing for a safari. We’ll talk about the differences and do a live demonstration. This session assumes you’ve already planned your trip.
